I have known for a while now one of my favorite bad guys, Demyx from Kingdom Hearts, does not play Sitar. You see Square Enix, or whatever they're called now, gave him this intrument to use as a weapon to summon water clones and stuff. But that's not important. They said it was a Sitar. Anyone that looks up a Sitar on google knows it has at LEAST 21 strings. But Demyx's "Sitar" only has 3.
So to make a long story short, I googled a bunch of three stringed instruments, found one that looked like Demyx's thing and colored it (poorly) in paint just for the hell of it.
I post it here, today, to show the world that Demyx sure as hell doesn't play Sitar. He plays a Colascione. My rant is now over. Feel free to flame. :p

Sitar sounds cooler than Colascione so tat is why they call it that plus it would be a little annoying having to make sure there's exactly 12 strings when 3 is easier to draw in ^.^. but you do have a good point :D

But in games they always change the realistic things and make them diffirent, also think of the sound that demyx's weapon makes. Anyway, I LOVE KINGDOM HEARTS.

It sure as hell looks like a penis. Xenmas wouldn't have it any other way.
I edited the strings so you could see them after coloring the colascione in. I just used the line tool in paint.

um nuu... a sitar has anywhere from 3 to 7 strings... so I dunno who told you there was 21 but they were wrong...so yeah...dun wanna be mean but its true...-hides-

Okay, I just Wiki'd this, so... A sitar has 21 strings minimum, but only 6 or 7 are playable ones placed in the usual position over the frets. Uh-huh. So, Demyx's thing STILL isn't a sitar.
